Grand Macmillan Fair Prize Draw 2017: Two nights at The Old Coastguard with dinner at Gurnard’s Head on one night
EATDRINKSLEEP, is thrilled to be able to be support the 2017 Cornwall Macmillan Christmas Fair by offering a prize of two nights at the Old Coastguard with supper on one night at The Old Coastguard and the other night across the moor The Gurnard’s Head, based on two people sharing.
Owner Charles Inkin says: “We all know of someone who has been affected by cancer and the support that Macmillan provides both practically and emotionally is invaluable.”
Sister to the Gurnards Head near St Ives and The Felin Fach Griffin near Brecon, The Old Coastguard is a small hotel in the fishing village of Mousehole, near the beaches and gardens of West Cornwall, the Minack Theatre and the artists’studios of Newlyn, Penzance and St Ives. It has fourteen bedrooms, nearly all of which have sea views to St Michael’s Mount and the Lizard.
The dining room and outside terrace sit atop of its tropical garden, which slopes down to the sea. It has a traditional brasserie menu with plenty of fish and seafood with a fixed price lunch of £16.50 for two courses with rooms from £140 for bed & breakfast.
