Cornwall's most vibrant Christmas Fair
Cornwall Christmas Fair is Back!
After a year’s break due to the pandemic, the Eden Project will be welcoming back Cornwall’s most vibrant Christmas Fair in November. This year marks thirty years since the first event was hosted at founder Lady Mary Holborow’s home. Over that time more than £780,000 has been raised for Cornwall’s charities. All funds raised in 2021 will go to support the Cornwall Community Foundation.
The Cornwall Christmas Fair, supporting the Cornwall Community Foundation, at the Eden Project
Wednesday 10 November 2021 – Preview & Shopping Evening, 5pm – 9pm
Thursday 11 November 2021, 10am – 4pm
For two days in November the Eden Link Building, between the two Biomes, will play host to a glorious array of Christmas gifts, home accessories, ethical fashion, beachwear, jewellery and skincare, and a diverse and delectable range of artisan food and drink produce in the Ginsters Food Hall. Significantly, the stallholders – some of whom will be making their first appearance in Cornwall – donate 15% of all takings to Cornwall Community Foundation.
Tickets for the Cornwall Christmas Fair will only be available for purchase in advance; there will be no ticket sales on the door.
Thanks to generous sponsorship from South West Water, the iconic Eden biomes will be turned blue for 2021 for the duration of the Fair. This is both to marks the Fair’s support for Cornwall’s communities and to thank Cornwall’s blue light services for their commitment and sacrifice over the last eighteen months.
“The Cornwall Community Foundation was right at the forefront in supporting vulnerable Cornish communities when COVID-19 hit and we are delighted to be adding our support as the vital re-building work begins in our communities,” explains Christmas Fair Co-Chair Kate Holborow. “This Fair is organised by a brilliant team of volunteers and owing to the support of generous sponsors, we ensure that all funds raised go straight to support our struggling Cornish communities.”
“We are so grateful to the Eden Project for not only letting us use the gorgeously twinkly Eden Link Building and the services of the brilliant Eden team, but also giving free admission to Eden on Thursday 11 November, meaning tickets only need to be purchased for the Fair itself. And of course we would never be able to raise the funds we do without the support of our sponsors and supporters; Ginsters of Cornwall, Lillicrap Chilcott, South West Water, Dales, Camel Creek Family Theme Park, Carlyon Beach, Rattler Gin, Stacks Property Search, Nixon Design, St Austell Printing Company, Jarrang, Coodes Solicitors, Walker Crips, PKF Francis Clark, Trevornick, Voice Group, St Austell Brewery, The Old Ship Hotel and Wild Card. Thank you all.”
