How you can support struggling Cornish communities during this second lockdown
The Cornwall Christmas Fair has successfully brought people together to raise money for causes they believe in for over 27 years. Supporting the Cornwall Community Foundation, a decision taken before the pandemic, feels more relevant than ever before: COVID-19 has put immense pressure on the community groups in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and places an extra strain on people that were vulnerable even before it began. We are therefore asking all our kind supporters to consider donating the price of their day or evening tickets as every donation really does make a difference.
£15 could give a family peace of mind that they will not go hungry for 5 days
£25 could provide a Christmas lunch and tea for a family
£50 could provide temporary accommodation for 3 days for a person who has become homeless
£100 could provide two counselling sessions for a person struggling with isolation, trauma and stress due to the coronavirus.
Everyone who donates will be entered into a prize draw to win a one-night break including a three-course dinner and breakfast for two at the fabulous Pig at Haryln Bay. Please donate here
